Senior Living Options

Many people prefer to remain living in their homes as they age. Our Aging Life Care Managers work with clients to assess whether this is a viable option and, if so, make recommendations that will allow them to live at home. These may include home modifications, in-home care, transportation options, social outlets and more. As our clients’ needs change, we continue to work with them to assure their living situation is meeting their needs.

If living at home isn’t a realistic option, we help clients find a senior living community that meets their needs and desires. This may include a personal care or assisted living community, a group home setting, or a skilled nursing facility. If clients are proactive and want to make a move prior to an urgent need, we work together to find a continuing care retirement community, which provides everything from independent living to skilled nursing care on the same campus.

We help our clients understand the costs, contract types, and steps involved with making these moves. We provide insight as to which communities provide high quality care and customize the search to those that are affordable. We do not accept referral fees from any senior living communities, so our recommendations are based solely on what is best for our clients.
